More than 8,000 of our event staff have worked at over 100 international games in nearly 30 stadiums. FOR EURO 2016, SOME 10,000 YOUNG PEOPLE FROM GERMANY AND FRANCE TOOK PART IN THE #FOOTENSEMBLE CREATIVE CONTEST.

Football is more than just about the goals, and the DFB works far beyond stadiums and VIP lounges to meet its social responsibility. For EURO 2016 in France, ‘The Team’ promoted German-French encounters, together with the German-French Youth Organisation, the Goethe Institute and Institut français Germany.

Boys and girls from France and Germany aged 12 to 20 designed French-German fan flags. A jury under the patronage of DFB goalie trainer Andreas Köpke chose the winners. The winners travelled to a week-long youth event in Evian, France, where they got to meet their idols from "The Team". We created the CSR campaign, handled the project management and online communication, and managed all events on location.
